We had a destination in mind but read on rvparkreviews they are doing some construction with jack hammers going from 7:30 a.m. until 6 at night so rethinking this now! Plan on calling to see when it will be finished.

We're going to visit some Civil War sites on the way to the rally and I want to see some of the leaves changing up on Skyline Drive or the Blue Ridge Parkway on the way home.

Right now we have tenative plans to head over to Elkhart and have some work done on the coach. That said, as disorganized as we are, there is no telling. Have heard some good things about W Virginia mountain areas.

We haven't made up our minds yet. It depends on how everything goes at the rally and if I have any money left.

We are thinking about heading to the DC area and maybe stay a few days at
Cherryhill RV park and take a look at DC. Sounds like fun. They have transportation right from the RV park I hear that takes you to the downtown
area.

THIS one. You should come. iRV2 National Rallies are always a great time.

We haven't decided yet either. Although DH has a sister & family just north of DC & we, too, were considering heading to Cherry Hill for a day or 2 to be close enough to visit them. Trying to firm up scheduling w/them before we commit. Otherwise, we'll probably make a stopover for a night or 2 at some CG in WV as that's the half-way point on our way home.

Work

I do more work now that I am retired then I did when I was employed and getting paid. The good thing is I can go at my own pace.

I take time out some times to have coffee and donuts so you can guess what I did for a living.

We're heading to south central Virginia to a couple of Corps of Engineers parks, spending three days at each one. The second is close enough to a certain candy and fudge store in Meadows of Dan that a visit there will be warranted. My current stock will be running low by then...

We are camping at Ocean Lakes family Campground for about 10 days "before" the Rally!!! We have a 5 day turn around and we're coming to Virginie! I think that's called a pre-rally event!

We'll be up the road from you at Myrtle Beach State Park from the 18th to the 23rd. Gotta get my fill of burgers at Fuddruckers while in MB. Maybe check out the new ferris wheel too.

Well ..... Please allow me to recommend a new restaurant for you. When you go south on King's Highway (RT 17) (left out of the park) go past Route 544 and immediately get off the highway onto the right side access road. Continue until you see a small shopping center on the right next to an ABC liquor store called Joey Doggs! Great Dogs and Burgers! Enjoy.

Send me a mail when you get here.
