I have been a beginning woodcarver for about 20 years now. My wife and I are seriously considering going to the national rally in July. I just got a brochure from a woodcarving outfit in Pigeon Forge (sp?) which I think is where the rally is going to be or close to it. Anyone else interested in a one or two session woodcarving class at the rally?

I may be interested. Wood carving is an enjoyable hobby for some people. I have done some wood carving, but not on a scale that is respectable to more advanced students.

Keep me in mind, but I only use a pocket knife !!

that sounds real good I was going to bend some ears at the rally to see if they had any wood carvers there. I would love to learn how.I got chip carving tools and regular tools that I bought for when I go full timing and need classes or someone to show me. but you can sign me up for whatever you can think of. I know the area is noted for its woodcarvers so there should be something for us tom
