'06 Roadtrek Adventurous Sprinter Van "B"

Although I'm active on other RV forums, I'm new here. We've owned our Roadtrek Adventurous RS since 2009. In 2010, we traveled coast to coast and put about 17k miles on the van. In 2011, we only did 2,500 miles in the van and another 2,500 near winter miles in our SUV.

We like our king sized bed and the storage under the bed, which is accessible via the rear doors. And we like the 19 to 25 mpg we get on our 2005 chassis. Newer Mercedes Sprinters (2008 and newer, I think), get only about 17 to 19 mpg because of changes made to comply with new emissions standards.

We also like the size of the Sprinter van, which allows us to parallel park almost anywhere and lets us into the parking lots of our favorite bathrooms, malls and coffee shops without much hassle. Driving a Sprinter is like driving a large SUV with room for a toilet and king bed. We never use the shower.
