1993 Beaver Contessa Assistance Required

HI! New RV owner. Can't get the propane stove or furnace to operate.
Put on a new regulator still no gas to either.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
We live on an island and professionals are a ways away.
Regards
Tom and Diane

In my 91 Baronet I have a propane leak detector that shuts off propane when it loses power or senses propane. It controls a solenoid valve. That may be your problem. Hope this helps.

Yep, same setup in our rig. Wanted to replace the unit since they need to be replaced every 5 to 7 years but found that I have to replace the detector as well as the valve on the tank. Seem the manufacturer of ours is out of business and you can just change the detector, have to do both. We only have one propane item in our rig, the cooktop so it's not a real big problem.
