1993 National RV Dolphin

Looking at this moho has a 5.9 cummins in it 85k klm. Looks nice new roof, new upholstry needs tires some other issues main one.......appears to have cracked exhaust manifold....oh and can this be hooked up to a engine computer or is there another way to check engine

The 1993 Cummins does not have a computer running anything so the answer is no, you can't plug a computer into it. It is a completely mechanical engine. Far as the exhaust manifold, a crack is not a "bad" thing, but not a great thing either. You can loose exhaust flow and have lower boost with more smoke because of it not to mention the exhaust possibly entering the coach. What color was the exhaust manifold? Was it a normal rust color or did it have a purplish tint to it? The more purple the hotter it got meaning the exhaust gas temperature was quite high and there is a risk of possible engine damage.
