Do we own the only 1996 Pace Arrow Vision 35W.
Would like to compare notes with other owners.

Thanks,
John

First off John a belated welcome to irv2.
Not many responses to your question. I'll place this in the welcome thread for more exposure.
Maybe if you address some of your conserns someone will help you.
Meanwhile enjoy the forums and do post often.

John,

Welcome to the group ! As you can see from the signature below I have a later "version of the vision". I know that saying something like this is just asking for a problem to rear it's ugly head, but ( all the Fleetwood bashing aside) we have had very few problems with our rig. Was 96 about the time that the "Vision" nameplate was first used?

Roger

John, I checked the '96 production records and there was TWO 35W VISIONS produced, yours and one other that caught fire and burned up on its way to the dealer.......

JUST KIDDING!!

Glad to have you on the forums and good luck with your rig!

Glenn

Well as you can probably tell I'm still trying to figure how to work this site. Be patient, improvement to follow.

Thanks Mutha you have no idea what your post did. I had just dealt with one of those my kid problems. (None in the nest) It wasn't anything serious, just a little annoying. I came back into my office to check my mail. And saw you had sent something. I read it and it immediately put me into hysterical laugh mode. You couldn't have been timed better. That was great. I haven't had any real big problems with this rig, just curious if anyone else had one like it. I had a guy tell me about his. But it had a different floor plan. I bought this used 3rd owner. And so far the levelers went south. And naturally they are obsolete and no parts available. Had to buy an up dated version $1850.00. Had GS Maintenance cost me $500.00. Now the step quit working $280.00. But it is in good-looking condition, very clean inside with 40,000 miles. He had redone all the brakes including Calipers, Rotors, Pads and new tires just before I bought it. And the best part is for what I paid for it I can put a good sum of money in it and still be below book price. Thanks again for a great laugh.

John

John, thanks for the nice reply! It is great to know that you have a good sense of humor, it makes life a whole lot easier to handle!

I am sure you will find other RV'ers here that have coaches like or similar to yours, and if there are common problems with a certain year or model, you will either find them yourself very quickly or there will be a jillion owners of that model telling you what to watch out for.

Here's to you - hoping you have a wonderful life changing experience with your new rig - Glenn.

Several years ago we owned a 36 foot 1996 Southwind (sister to the Pace), complete with a tag axle and the big 14 foot "super slide". A gorgeous, well equipped coach and quite the luxury liner for its day. Traded it when the double slide motorhomes became affordable, but we have always remembered the Southwind favorably.
