Hi all....just purchased a new to me 2015 Coachmen Freelander 21QB.....excellent condition with 4500 miles on it.....I have camped for many years in tents, popups and trailers but this is my first motorhome....I live in MA and have not put it on the road yet... so I am storing it at the dealers until April..and warm weather.. I have a lot of questions mostly about things I need to take with me that wld be different than what I was use to in my trailer....which was seasonal....and help with storage inside for my kitchen items etc and how do I keep stuff from moving around and shifting...also any ideas on a gps unit....no jacks so what do I need for levening it...this will be for weekend camping....make it easy for me since it will only be me the dog and the bird and I don't think they will be much help setting up just good company

Ty in advance for any advice and help......

Nancy

I recommend that you do your first trip close to home. Put in anything you think you need and then go. If there is something critical go home and get it. Make a list of things you need while camping and bring it next time.

As far as leveling, you can buy these orange leveling blocks from Camping world, or other places online, that you can stack up and drive up on them with the wheels you need.

Things in the cabinets, get a roll of this rubbery mat that helps things stay in place. Cut it to the size of your compartment and stack things as low as you have room. You can look at different things you may need at campingworld.com and rvupgrade.com.

Good luck. Welcome, may all your wheels be always be on the ground.

Nancy,

Just a quick suggestion, make very sure it is winterized. If you wind up finding freeze damage in the spring the dealer is going to say it is not their fault.

Most folks just use 16" to 24" pieces of 2x8 or 2x10 to level. They're cheap and get the job done.

mangy dog

ps: Welcome

If you have two axles you will need two sets. .this will be for weekend camping....make it easy for me since it will only be me the dog and the bird and I don't think they will be much help setting up just good company
