1st night in our 01 Septer

Hello everyone I'm new to this form. Last night my wife and I spent our first night in our new to us 2001 Holiday Rambler scepter. We drove from Oregon to Willits California down Highway 101 my previous motorhome RV my previous motorhome was a 91 Ford Tioga class c 23 foot. I have to say the driving experience of the septor I was a little hair raising at times. Mainly the multiple road construction with Narrow Lanes. We are pulling our 2002 Honda CRV looking into my rear-view camera I can see my alignment inthe lanes a little easier than through the windshield.
The night went off without a hitch other than a leaking water supply hose that I failed the tighten. I would post some pictures of our new RV but I haven't figured out how. Safe travels and Godspeed.

Welcome and congratulations on your HR! My new class A experience with 101 was driving up from Thousand Oaks to San Mateo. The afternoon winds combined with me pulling our Honda Element was a bit hairy too. :-)

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

You can always get a sense of the lane by looking at truckers and busses. You'll see how much room on the sides you really have. It will help relax you.

Happy Trails!!!
