We are Seniors somewhere in our 60's (lol) and after much discussion and so forth, we bought a Pop-up, just about 2 weeks ago. Our decision was made partly due to all the good information, and advice we have seen on this forum. We had planned to have a couple of short trips in by now, but due to the heavy rains here in NE Ar. this past weekend, we could go nowhere. We had put the PU up to start loading it, and it has stayed up during all the wind and rain, since it came upon us so fast. Stayed dry as anything after about 10 inches of rain. We love our PU and can't wait to take our first trip, and want to thank all of you so much for all of the good advice and ideas. What a nice group you are, and we are happy to be in your company.

Well welcome to the forum. Well at least now we know you from your first post anyway.

With all the rain and such at least now you are sure you will be sleeping in a dry bed if it rains while you are out campin.

Northeast Arkansas has lots of fine State parks and Corps parks. Actually there are nice ones all through the State.

Cathy and I spent our honeymoon in AR and MO twenty-six years ago in a "Slide in" truck camper.

Highway 7 is one of my favorite drives.

I am gonna link this to the "Pop-up" area so you can get more "Howdy-Doo's" from folks with "Pop-ups".

Again welcome aboard!

Howdy and welcome to iRV2.

Since you have been lurking for a bit you know there are a lot of great folks here so let us know if you have any questions.

We planned on going out one weekend was getting everything loaded and our Granddaughter got sick so we stayed right there in the driveway for the weekend and had a great time. We realy had all the comforts of home.

Again welcome and let us know how you do when you can get out of the drive way.

Welcome to the forum betloy, glad you found us. Fall camping is about as good as it gets so enjoy it as soon as the rain quits. You can send some of it our way too, we need it.
