Great list from Kim and great suggestion about the pad and pencil. We did this the first year in our first motor home. At the end of the first year, it contained several items such as;

1. diesel pusher
2. longer motorhome
3. Slide outs
4. Washer/dryer
5. Toad

Two things come to mind. Walmart is probably closer and cheaper than CW.

Live in it in your yard/driveway/local park for a weekend. Most of your needs will become apparent in a more convenient setting. ;-) After than take it for an overnight at a local campground and you can finish the break in process.
