2000 Winnebago Adventurer Chassis Type

I have always been under the impression that my 2000 Winnebago Adventurer 35u was a workhourse chassis. I now think its a ford chassis. I want to change shocks but cant find the information can you tell me what it is or where in my paper work to find it.

Thank You

I know this will sound stupid, but take a look at the steering wheel, if its a Ford, the Ford Blue Oval will be on the horn pad.... Also, in most cases, look on either front lower corner just above the front wheels, there is usually an emblem attached. If it says V10, then its a Ford.

Usually the steering wheel has either a Ford or Workhorse logo on it.

You can tell definitively from the VIN - a Workhorse VIN will start with 5B4 or 5T4. Ford has quite a few VIN prefixes, so its hard to list all the possibilities.

If you have a V10 engine, it's a Ford. If you have an 8.1L or 7.4L (454 cubic inch) V8 engine, it's a Workhorse. If it has an Allison transmission, it's a Workhorse.
