40 year MH owner, new to this site

Greetings from Meridian, MS. My name is Billy Ethridge, married 44 years to Gayle, and a lover of the rv lifestyle for over 40 years. We owned our first MH( a Divco truck conversion) in 1972, and we have had a motorhome of some sort ever since. Currently, we have a 1995 Volvo with a custom 30' conversion that we completed in 2002, a 2008 Showhauler 42' on a FL120 with 515HP Detroit( our second Showhauler) full automatic Eaton and a 32' Stacker. I am semi-retired at this time, but we travel as often as possible. Our hobbies include road racing, showing street rods and nostalgia drag racing, as well as just getting away and doing nothing. We have owned an RV dealership two times, currently still licensed to deal in used units and racing trailers by Cargo Mate. I was a Lincoln Mercury dealer until Ford Motor Co. decided to buy out and close all of the small stores in the country. I will not be looking at this site everyday, but I will try to check it often. I can probably offer some insight to many problems and questions that come up, based on what I have read in the post, but I do not claim to know everything(just ask Gayle)!!!! As a sidenote, the first motorhome in the family was a Travco that my Dad bought in 1968. He just passed away and we are going to sale his Foretravel shortly. If passing through Meridian, MS during the morning hours of 6-9, tune into my talk show on 102.1FM or 910 AM. Thanks to this site for allowing enthusiast to have a great place to discuss and promote this great lifestyle.

Welcome Billy. Bring Gayle and come on down to the Gulf Coast. Lots to do and plenty of good things to eat (and maybe a little something to help quench the thirst).
