5th wheel - new to the forum

Hello all - was introduced to the forum by Googling a few things and kept taking me to this great site. Wife and I have 11yo son & 8 yo daughter and currently have a 5th wheel.

Lately, I've really been getting the bug to travel more in the RV. My work allows me to work remotely to an extent and the thought of travel is so appealing. We don't have the kids full time, but when we do - really like instilling the values that the great outdoors brings.

We've been looking at the new 2015 Dutch Star line and the thought of rolling into camp and not having to hook up (weather permitting) or if it's late at night is becoming increasingly appealing.

We started RV'ing around 2005 with a class C and currently have a 5th wheel.

Anyway, just a quick note to say hello and look forward to interacting more with you all.

Cheers,
Lincoln

Welcome! We are Ron and Marybeth from Nevada. We are currently looking at going full time this summer. Our house will be on the market shortly and once it sells we plan on purchasing an Itasca 42GD. There is so much to learn but that is half the fun the this lifestyle change! Good luck with your travels, and you never know, we may be neighbors at a campground somewhere down the road!

Hi Ron & Marybeth,

You're absolutely correct, the lifestyle change is what I'm looking forward to. One day, it will be great being a full-time RV'r...for now, we'll just enjoy it one week/trip at a time.

Hope to see you on the site (or in person!) down the road.

Thank you to all others that chimed in - you certainly do make me feel welcomed.

Cheers,
Lincoln
