Smile 9 years and counting fulltimers

Hi Everyone,
This will be the first forum for me, but we are not new to rving. It's been
9 years last month that we took the plunge and decided to go full-time. Now we are considering buying a newer coach with more stuff and more slides or going the re-modeling way. Of course, one of us is ready to move up to bigger and newer and then one of us is still holding out of doing anything right now. It's that wait and think stuff that drives me crazy.
We have already learned enough about the Norcold 1200 to know for sure that buying a household refrigerator is the way to go, especially when full-timing is involved.
So, here goes. I want to go the way of the 4-slide, 45 foot, newer than 2005 and he wants to think more about everything!!! Any ideas?

Wish I had the answer, as Sarah said Good luck with the decision and make sure you do your research! Many, many rigs out there both high and low priced

Thanks for the encouragement. We don't make decisions very fast, so this will probably take a while but I will keep you all updated as time goes on.

Well, here I am again and now the norcold has just about quit all-to-gether. When I was here a couple of weeks ago there was a post about someone who had installed a home refrigerator himself and posted a step by step, but now I can't find his post. Can I get some help?

Do a search in the search box of the site- residential fridge install. You will see many threads on this.

Hi abenruth, welcome to the forum. Best of luck on making him see it your way. Cold hot dogs may help.

Here I am again. I am trying to find out if what is wrong with our 1200 Norcold refrigerator could be the flapper. I didn't even know this kind of ref had a flapper but apparently it does. Could my problem be that the flapper is not open all the way? The freezer works great but the bottom box is right at 50 degrees. Any suggestions out there?
