94 Flair first time RVer

Just put a deposit on a 30' 94 Fleedwood Flair. Pretty excited about it! A couple questions, what are some good books on taking care of a motorhome? I've heard people talk about getting a book to explain how everthing works but I never caught the title.

Also, has anyone found a source for the hide-a-lofts in the new Fleetwoods? I would like to put one of those in.

Thanks. I've learned a lot from reading so far. Hope I can contribute in the future.

Dan.

Hi Dan! Welcome and Congratulations on your new rig. I have't heard of any books other than the manual, but someone else may come on here and give you that info. We pretty much have depended on manuals, IRV2 and our camping friends for any help that we need. This group here can answer any question that comes up. Good luck and safe travels.

Trailer Life's Repair & Maintenance Manual is a good general purpose one.

Howdy Dan and welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new RV! Check out Youtube for a bunch of RV/motorhome videos. Here are a couple of helpful links... BetterRVing - Experience better Rving

New RVer - Beginner's guide to RVing

We found these videos on driving to be excellent info (scroll down the page for a list of all the videos). RV Driver Confidence Course: Part 1 - Better RVing

Good luck and have fun! (Oh, and ask Fleetwood specific questions on the Fleetwood owners board. You'll get more responses there.)
