A Couple (literally) of Newbies from Florida

Hi Folks!

We are Tim and Chrissie from Sunny Florida. We are such newbies that we don't even have an RV yet. We've been looking at rigs semi-seriously for a while and seriously since the beginning of the year. Since it feels like we're getting close here purchase-wise (well, to me at least - my wife would tell you we're still 1-2 years out ) I thought I'd register to both say "hi!" and "thanks for all the help so far" and "please don't beat me too hard if I ask dumb questions."

See you all around!

Hello and to the iRV2 forums. We are also negotiating the purchase of our first MH. We are in western NY and hope to be out of here before next winter. My wife is still working although will retire this fall. Perhaps we'll see you some time.

Welcome to iRV2 from a fellow Floridian.

Good luck on the hunt for a rig.

Lots of good information on this forum so just ask if you have questions.

Hi Tim & Chrissie from Steve & Gari in Maryland. We are doing something similar, just got a truck and waiting on a 5er. Looking forward to seeing what you all find. Enjoy the looking & learning!

Hello there to another fellow Floridian. What part of the state do you hail from? We're in Brevard County and, like you, are looking to buy. Also like you, one of us has a much closer timeline than the other . I'm doing my best to wear my better half down tho'. I know I'm bordering on "obsessed" and cannot wait to finally get ours. Here's hoping you get to do the same soon!

We're across the state in Fort Myers! I'm heavy into the "wearing her down" faze right now, for sure. I'm dutifully following the monthly budget, whispering sweet nothings, and nonchalantly talking about the wonderful trips we'll take in the coach (specifically highlighting the routes/destinations she is most interested in). I feel confident I can shave some time off her 1-2 more years ultimatum. Hopefully I can whittle her down by, oh, 1-2 years...:-)

Hi Tim and Chrissy. You're in a great area to look at coaches, there are plenty in your area between North Trail, Camping World and others. We bought ours last February at Palm RV and are enjoying every minute of it.
We are nowhere near full time yet, but we're practicing as much as we can!
Good Luck.

Welcome Tim & Chrissie, Take your time in getting your RV and look at a bunch of them to narrow your search. We looked at a bunch b-4 we chose ours. I retired a month ago and the DW retires in may, lots to do with the home and our stuff as we want to be full timing by the end of summer, time will fly by. Good Luck!
