I just didn't get around to the rest of the forums, been staying close to National RV forum.
I am an Amateur road racer and we use our RV primarily for hauling the race trailer throughout the Midwest states. I have had a 1988, 27' Class C Gulfstream, since 1994, and we recently stepped into a very nice, well taken care of National RV Dolphin 535, Vortec 454. The differnce is like night and day. I never thought that I would like or be able to get used to the extra "Mass" of a Class A, but the drivability is outstanding, don't even know I have the trailer attached most of the time. That compared to many "white knuckle" drives in the C, and honestly, now, I don't know what took me so long. The coach space in this unit is perfect for us, we have "too much" room for storage, and my milage is often better than the smaller unit. We will have our "sorting out" issues, but most everything has been minor.
I race a modified Porsche 944 chassis in the NASA German Touring Sportscar Challenge, class GTS/2.
We are hoping to do more regular travel and camping in the future.
The forums are a daily read now!

Welcome, CARVAL. I'm an old SCCA racer. My handle comes from my GT-3 914 2.0/4. I still work SCCA races, a lot.

Thanks Norm,

Read a few of your posts, wondered about "Handle". Great! Will have to share a few stories. Got that 914 still? Here is the Series website and our ruleset, check 'em out. Power to weight series! http://www.gtschallenge.com

Take care.

Carl
