A Motorhome At Last

My wife and I are the proud owners of a pre-enjoyed 2004 Mountain Aire 4301 DP. We have camped in tents, pop-ups and travel trailers but this motorhome is a true home on wheels. About 15 years ago we worked a seasonal job that afforded us the opportunity to have Jan. - mid April off. So one winter we decided to hook our 28 ft. Nomad to our pick-up and headed out to find warmer weather and sunshine. We traveled through 20 plus states some with a night stay and others with a longer visit. Ten weeks later we were home after logging 10,000 miles with no major problems and many fond memories. Since that day we have talked about traveling again, so when we reached retirement age last summer we decided it was time to get serious about our travel options. We have a 30 ft trailer that we considered taking but our dream for future travel included a MH. New was out of our price range especially with so many beautifully maintained used units available. After looking at many NHs we found the Mountain Aire and fell in love with it. Because winter was fast approaching we decided we would wait until spring to purchase because we had plans that wouldn't allow us to get away this winter. Hell, we figured MHs aren't going to sell in NH in the winter, well we were wrong. The motorhome we fell in love with went under contract. So much for thinking we could wait untill spring. Seeing we missed that unit we decided to start our search again in the spring. I had become so interested in researching the different brands, features and types of motorhomes I would still stop by the dealers periodically to look at units that became available. One day when I stopped he said I was just going call to you, the financing on the Mountain Aire didn't go through so it's available again. I called my wife and we decided it was meant to be so now it's ours. We are looking forward to spring and the beginning of our new adventure.

Yup, sometimes it's just kismet. Congrats on your purchase. There are a couple of Mountain Aires in the storage lot and I look at them longingly whenever I visit White Tiger.

Good luck ob your plans.
