Smile About to embark on our RV adventure.

My wife and I will soon be retired and we are excited to experience full time living in a motorhome. We plan to purchase a 32-36' diesel pusher and tow our paid for and very useful Honda Pilot. I know that there are discussions here regarding the suitability of the Pilot as a tow car and will be interested to participate. We live in Arizona and will doing most of our early travels up to Northwest, returning to the Phoenix area for the winter, where we have kids and grandkids.

i have discovered that both Beaver and Tiffin made 32' models in the 2000-2001 era and am currently honing in on those. So that's it for the intro. Any thoughts?

My experience with my 37' DP: I wish it was 34' at times because some RV parks have an abundance of 35' maximum sites, and we have had to pass up some good parks due to no larger sites being available. Our model has what I consider to be 3-4 feet of fairly wasted interior space, so I know that with a good floor plan 34 could be fine for long term use. You want at least 2 slides to open up and not make you feel like you are in a submarine.

Good luck on your search for a coach that fits your needs and wants. In case you weren't aware Tiffin is again making a 32' diesel coach if you decide you want something newer.

Beaver made great coaches. I tried buying one for over 8 months. Every time I'd find a good one, someone would come in and buy it! 😡 Had to settle for a Country Coach 😜. You can find great rigs in the late 90's for less than $50k depending on model...
