Hello All:::

I am planning a 3 - 4 week long trip this summer to Yellowstone From south Florida. Two grown children are coming with me. After that I plan to use the trailer for weekend excursions in the Keys.
Any advice on what size trailer and which one? There are RV dealers around here but I really don't want to tow (or store) more than I will need. My truck is rated for much more than I want to tow so I was thinking of no more than 21-22 feet?? The layouts seem to be redundant with much wasted space.
Any ideas on specific models? Brands? I'm not opposed to a good clean late model, but I really can't travel out of state at this point to "look".
I'm all ears if anyone has any advice on what would be important for a trip like this and what's not. Thanks everyone!

That's a good idea. I've been looking for over a year now. It's swimming in my head. Any particulars that you would point out to me that would be a must have or a not needed?

Have you ever used an RV?

If not, I would suggest renting one for a week after which you will have a handle on what you like and what you don't like.

Could you share with us what kind of truck and it's specs.

We owned a 22H Nash trailer and went to Canada and most states west of the Mississippi with it.

The bad part was that it had a crawl over bed. I'd look for a unit with a walk around bed

I've had a pop-up, and two teardrops. As a kid my family had a motor home and we went all over.
I'm finally tired of not being able to camp somewhere because of the bathroom facilities not being at some of the campgrounds I might want to camp at. (Teardrop) (shower, etc) plus when it rains, it's nice to have somewhere dry and warm to still make breakfast.
I have a F150 with an ecoboost.
