Alaskan's retiring in the Lower 48

We brought our hard-earned dollars from Alaska to the Lower 48 to retire. We landed in central WA State where the weather can't be beat. We're searching for our turtle shell to travel about and this looked like a good place to learn from others. Thanks for having me!

Central WA can be a great place spring and fall. Brutally hot in summer and cold in winter. But enjoy. Come south, and visit us at one of our Oregon state parks.

I thought Alaska was the US.
When did they change?

For FYI many Alaskans have settled in Upper Michigan. I see Alaska plates all the time around Marquette. I retired here 10 years ago, love the climate which can be a lot like costal Alaska because we are surrounded by water . Check us out, you may like it here.
