Alberta newbie

We live on an acreage located in Rocky View County, 10 minutes west of Calgary, if any of you guys or gals are coming out this way let me know and I will try to direct you to the wonderful sites in and around this area. I'm 58 years old and work as a Plumbing and Gas inspector for the county, the townes of Cochrane, Okotoks, and Alberta municipal affairs. Although not new to the RVing world, having owned trailers and class c mh's finally decided to go class A, We purchased a 97- 40' Monaco Dynasty to pull my 28' ft enclosed car carrier with my 63' pro-street corvette to car shows around the country. My upcoming retirement has been thrown a curve when my wife was diagnosed with MS 7 years ago, now wheelchair bound, along with my failing back are making it a real challenge. Non the less we will go onward as long as possible.

We all have one final destination as we travel the highway of life. We can only hope they have a great campground.

If you can't find a decent campground please don't hesitate to drop in, we got 20 acres with a Rocky mountain view.

Howdy and welcome aboard. Glad you joined us and hope you enjoy the site.

Wish you and your wife another few good years on the road. You probably don't need it, because you are already living in the prettiest place, as I can remember.

Van.

Hi from Mountainview county, just north of Calgary, welcome another Albertan to the site. We have learned soo much from the friendly people on IRV2, hope you can too. We also are facing our health problems, but every day together is a gift, enjoy your time together. I almost lost my DH this winter and can understand the stresses that health issues bring, thats why rv'ing is so great, we can get away and go 'chillaxing!'
