Thumbs up Aliens from NM

Hi folks, I missed this new member check-in. I'm a typical guy,(don't red instructions)! We are from Roswell, and hope to be full timers based in Logan,NM soon. Our plans are to live in our 5'er while we build a SIP panel home near the lake. I'd like to see a little of the country before we start that project though. We picked up a little used 93 Newmar Kountry Aire and a 93 Ford F-350 dually from a friend for a song. He made us an offer we couldn't refuse so we took the plunge. I've camped all my life, and my parents full timed in a 5'er for a few years before medical issues changed their plans. This is our first RV and we are really looking forward to the adventure. These forums were a welcome find for me. Super people and great information to boot!

Welcome! Being from Las Vegas and once having had friends in Roswell I do like your thread heading of "Aliens from NM".

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I've always said that RV'ers are the best. Most are always ready to share their knowledge and experiences at the drop of a hat. Our new "home base" is only about two minutes away from the State Park that we spent the last 18 years camping at. Eleven years ago we purchased a acre of land overlooking the lake, and four years ago we built a nice big shop on the lot to work out of. We can finally hook up our 5'er to electricity/water/sewer!
We aren't quite livin' the dream, but it won't be long. Looking forward to talking to you.
