Will join you NEXT year for sure???!!!
Can't wait for the DW to retire from flying very SOON.
This winter is not bad here in the Vancouver area... green grass and some rain and in the plus, but QS is QS, can't beat fun there!!!

Welcome to irv2 and Arizona! Hard to believe the weather isn't it? I am from N. Idaho and still find the weather amazing. There are a lot of people to get acquainted with in Quartzsite.
We are at Escapee's North Ranch now for about a week and then heading to Quartzsite for our second time for probably 2 weeks.

Larry and Vera, Welcome
We are heading to Quartzsite next Friday can't wait. I also just retired last month and can't stop smiling and pinching myself!!
Congrats on your retirement.
P.S. If you like boondocking take a look at installing some solar panels they really work well for keeping the batteries charged.

Welcome to iRV2!! You should also come on down to the Monaco Forum and join in the fun there too. You will find all sorts of folks willing to help any way they can.
Some of us will also be gathering there in QZ this coming week - you are certainly welcome to "pull up your stakes" and come join out group once we start to gather. jacmat is our resident Canadian who was there last year with us & returning again ...I am sure we have room for a few more.
Again...welcome to iRV2..we do hope you visit & post often!
PS..hardy1000 - Are you going to make it to the Potluck on Sunday? I will be making SW White Chili

Hi MM, we will be on an all day off road ride on Sunday and cannot make it. My wife and I will be by to meet all of you and are looking forward to it.
I love Chili darn it, oh and about everything else except liver. You can also find me sneeking a cinnamon roll and coffee over at the show.
See you out there

We don't live very far (30 mi) from the chile capital, Hatch, NM. It is hard when you go to some other part of the world and expect to get good green chile. The question around here is, Green or Red. We would love to be at Quartzsite but we are holding up in Las Cruces until the daughter returns from Iraq. We are the care taker for a 6 1/2 yr old grandaughter. Her mom and dad are both in Iraq. Next year will be the plan. When you come thru Cruces drop us a note and we will take you out to a good place for chile.

Will do Jim, I do miss the food (the best). Only in NM can you get green chilis offered anywhere including McDonalds.
Jim, thank you and your familiy for your service to our country, it is greatly appriciated. I wish for a fast and safe return home for your family.
