An old RV across the pond!

Hello everybody,

We're Eve & Bruce from sunny England. You know straight away that's a lie!! So I'll start again.

We're Eve & Bruce from a very damp, miserable England.

We recently bought a Forest River Georgetown 303, 2002, and have to say it's a beauty. Previous two owners have really looked after it well. Only 43,000 miles on the clock.

The only problem is the passenger door handle is broken but the previous owner is going to Daytona and will bring a replacement back with him. How good is that?

We have bought the RV to travel all around Europe (and maybe beyond) as with have recently agreed to sell our house and my Wife cannot make her mind up where she wants to live. So I will take her anywhere she desires to find a home to retire in. We are in our very early 60's and therefore have a few years to make up our (her) mind!! I do feel I'm losing mine so times as The-Other_Half has changed her starting point three times now! We are starting in France, agreed. Only took three months to decide that!

We thought we'd join your Forum as we are bound to experience a few problems along the way and therefore could hopefully rely upon you out there for assistance, if required. I am an engineer and will tackle almost anything on the RV except cleaning the wc. Typical man.

So this is just a short hello message and, as you can appreciate, am very busy starting to pack so time is a wasting!

Kind regards to all,

Eve & Bruce.

Welcome to iRV2.
Growing number of members from the UK, we're going to have to get you all together for a Rally.

Enjoy your RV and hope that your wife doesn't decide on the Channel Islands, as your retirement home.
