Just joined these boards as I am going to need to know more information about RVing in the USA next year or maybe the year after. Im going to take two years off and get over there and purchase a good rig to explore the country to the full.
So I will be checking in to see where I might want to go, tips on campsites and general full timing even if its for a limited time.
I currently own a 1991 Winnebago Elandan with a mere 33,000 on the clock, my pride and joy but after three and a bit years of ownership Im going for an upgrade to a bigger and more suitable rig. Im rather tempted by an 2002 American Eagle or something similar, so Im really seeking feedback on what the model is like. Dont think theres any over here.
My intention would be to ship it back home at the end of the trip, so Im starting to plan this now. I cant wait.
This looks a pretty good informative site, I will habg around a bit, hope it pans out as good as I think it will.
Terry

mechanic;

Welcome to IRV2. We are glad you found us. I would like to encourage you to drop down to the Winnebago Industries Owner's Forum where we have a wealth of experience on Winnebago products. Also when you do, just ask for some Winnebago Karma and we will fix you up.

Don

Welcome mechanic, my wife is from Didcot, England. Glad you have joined us. We are just outside of Little Rock, Arkanas in a place called Jacksonville, AR, just about 8 miles NE of Little Rock. Let us know if you need anything.
