Another New Guy..

Hello fellow RVers.

I figured I better make an "official" new guy post. Looking through the forums I see a lot of familiar handles from other forums, which is awesome!

I am not new to the RV scene, but came searching for an RV forum recently do to picking up a "new to me" 2006 Fleetwood Revolution LE. After several years, 12+, of pulling around a TH the wife talked me into getting a MH and enclosed trailer for the toys.

Last weekend was our main voyage with the MH and I gotta say, I was white knuckled for the 225 miles trip, but the return drive home was much better. I've towed trailers all my life and very comfortable with doing so, but setting in front of the front axle is going to get some getting use to for sure.

I will say that I was a little lost when we arrived at our destination (Glamis) as I am use to having to unload the toys out of the trailer, get everything setup inside then trying to level the trailer. Within a few minutes of pushing buttons we had it all leveled out, the slides out and standing by the fire with our friends, which all have MH's. Unload the toys the next morning in the daylight and had a great trip.

No regrets so far...

Welcome B William!

Welcome to the forums from another California newbie!

My wife and I have just made the transition from TT to MH because of the ease of set up...and a little extra room. So I completely understand your move. I think most MH owners would agree.

Very nice looking rig. Like the trailer for your toys....though don't think I could talk the other half into considering one...

Have a great time!

We had a popup that we thought we loved, on one trip we were getting ready to leave and a rain storm came up just before we left. It took us 3 hrs to rap up camp and had to open up everything when we got home. 2 weeks later we sold it and got a class c and have never looked back. I hear you and can appreciate what you did,
