I'm also from So Cal (Long Beach). Have sold my house (closing on Mar 25th) and will be joining the full timers. Bought a 2005 Mandalay 40E with a cat 350 engine, a 6 speed auto trans and has four slidouts. Beautiful rig, saw it at the Los Angeles RV show last October and fell in love with it. It is in storage in Oragon and will be heading up there after escrow closes. Will spend some time up there until I can register it. Than plan on visiting the upper states and Canada in the summer and heading south in the winters. See you on the road.

Welcome Arthur to the irv2 forum. Here you will find friendly folks, great conversation and good advice when you need it. While in Oregon enjoy our great state parks and campgrounds. My personal favorites on the coast are Harris Beach State Park north of Brookings; Bullards Beach State Park north of Bandon; and Beverly Beach State Park north of Newport. Happy Trails!!

Welcome and congratulations on the new Mandalay. We've looked at some of them and love many of the interiors and floor plans.

Feel free to join in any discussion or to start a new one of your own. A new fulltimer is bound to have a lot of questions, so ask away. There are no dumb question!

Tommorrow,
- your house closes
- you move from Long Beach, CA to Oregon
- you get that nice Mandalay out of storage
- you become a fulltimer
Excited ?
