Might as well formally introduce my/ourselves. We recently bought a new R-Vision Onyx 25RB (in early November). Intended to pull it with my '11 Toyota Tacoma with a V6. After one night out and pulling it home, I/we made the decision that a bigger tow vehicle was in order.

Upgraded to a '12 Ram 1500 Larime 4x4 with a 5.7L. I think that was a good move. Love the ride and it seems to have plenty of excess power. As they say "There is no replacement for displacement." And the ride is pretty good, too.

Originally bought the trailer to live in while on various projects until I retire in about 4 years, or so. And that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Your right about "no replacement for displacement", goes along with "go big or stay home" Should tow a little beter with the new truck. You got to get pictures up on the "New Rig Show Off" for everyone to see now. Have fun with the new trailer.

Fortunately, it came with a hitch. I may have to update that as well with an Equalizer. Had one on the Airstream I had 30+ years ago. Yeh, I full timed when I was in college.
