Post Another newbie

Hello to all. My wife(Linda, retired)and myself (Andy, retiring Apr) just purchased our first RV in Jan. heading for Fla for two weeks in Mar on our "maiden voyage"
Have been scouring this and other websites hoping to glean any info that might help us avoid any unnecessary "newbie missteps"....

Planning on setting out cross-country this summer. Hope to meet some of you on the road.

Hello Andy and Linda, welcome to the forum. Florida is a big place, to which part are you heading? If you come through P'cola give a shout and we'll buy the coffee.

Hello Andy and Linda. You will love the weather in Florida. Congrats on retiring and being able to take the cross country trip. That was the first one we took after retiring last April. Enjoy!

Hi Andy and Linda:

A GREAT BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 gang. Recalling those exciting times when we first started out like you folks brings a BIG smile to our faces. We're currently here in Florida, our winter camp, and will be returning to our home state of South Dakota sometime in April or May for awhile. Do ya have any ideas yet about where in Florida ya might visit in April before heading cross country?? You're gonna LOVE IT!!
