Thumbs up Another newbie

I just bought a 32 foot 2005 Dolphin motorhome. I am new to iRV2 and also new to motorhomes. I have pulled 5th wheel trailers before.

In reviewing all the manuals, I found that I need to know which Workhorse chassis I have.

I think it is a W22, but how can I verify?

I hope you all will bear with me until I become more knowledgeable.

Howdy and welcome! I can't help with the Workhorse chassis info, but hopefully someone who knows will see your post.

I don't know if I am doing this right, but thanks Sarah and sdennis for responding. I will probably go to Alaska in 2014, and sdennis hope you are there to show me around. I did drive from California to Alaska in 1991 and lived there for 8 months. I lived in Palmer and Eagle River. I miss the beauty of that state. Sarah thanks to you too for responding.

I have the 2005 Brochure that was in my packet when I bought my Dolphin. There are no 32' listed but there are 33.9'. According to this brochure all models have the W22 until you get to 36' 6355 LX which has the W24.

You might also look in the cabinet over the driver's seat on the Federal Certificate Tag my says Workhorse then below that it has GVWR 24000 lbs. Not sure if that is for the W24 or not.

BTW Welcome to iRV2. Great place for helpful info.

Worse case scenario, if you can't concretely nail it down via manuals, etc, I wonder if would it be possible to give Dolphin a call or a quick email and ask?

That would be nice but National RV is out of business.

Ah-ha! Thanks for that information, I wasn't aware that National was defunct. Kinda sad - their coaches seemed to be high-value to cost ratio coaches, too. Glad I could learn something - that makes today a very good day.

To the OP, my Google-fu appears strong today and you have a W22 chassis on your 2005 Dolphin. I found a number of similar ads/blog posts/articles/etc describing rigs similar to yours, and they all list the chassis as a W22. Hope this helps!
