Cool Another Newbie!

Hi, I just joined. My wife and I and her 87 year old mom (who lives with us) are working on going to live in the rv full time. Right now we are still in our house. We've done quite a bit of camping together in our 28' travel trailer. We want to get a 40' toy hauler 5th wheel and turn the garage into a mother-in-suite (which includes the extra bathroom). Later, when there is just the two of us, we'll use the garage for storage and a craft room. We're planning on hosting, work camping etc.
I have 3 years until I retire but we are preparing to find a 5th wheel and moving into it after selling our house in the spring. Going through that difficult stage right now of sorting and getting rid of all of our stuff (except for essentials. Also, would like not to put stuff in storage.
Any ideas for us out there. What experiences have others had with this?
