Hi all..
I am an englishman researching becoming a fulltime RVer in 2 to 3 years time when I (hopefully) retire.
The lifestyle I envisage will consist mainly of boondocking, NW USA and Canada (and south for the winter).
My primary consideration when buying an RV will be the power and reliability of its engine. Unfortunately I am to mechanics what an ashtrays is to a motorbike). The only thing I do know is that it will petrol rather than diesel powered. Any advice as to the rest of it would be gratefully received.
Second and third will be the GVWR, GCVR and the capacities of the Fresh/Grey/Black tanks.
Can anyone point me at a WWW site where I might get/compare specifications for Class A RV's in the 1996 - 2000 year ranges, 30'- 35'. Try as I do, I can only find data on new models.
The rest I could add later?...
Thanks in anticipation.

Howdy Cam,
Welcome to the board. You will find plenty of folks here willing to share their experiences and such. I am sure it will assist you in your quest for the right rig for you.
You may want to post some of your questions in the general motor home area. You may get more responses there. Or you cold scan many of the posts already on the board that may have some information that will help you as well.
Again welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing how things go in your search for the perfect rig for you.
Dom

Don, thanks for the response. I've posted to the general area.
Just hope the responses aren't too numerous or technical.
Had to remove the ashtray from the motobike when it stopped working properly.

Welcome Cam to the IRV2 forum, hope everything goes well in your search for your RV, the best advice that I can give you is to call dealers and ask for details on the coaches that you might consider and then narrow it down from there, be patient and take it slow and you will arrive at your objective. Cam,
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">. ..Had to remove the ashtray from the motobike when it stopped working properly. ...
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>
perhaps the ashtray had inadvertently been installed upside down and could just have easily been re-installed .
but at any rate , in that you are obviously a gentleman with a grand sense of humor, please stick around this WWW here and ask the motorhome folks here about their models. I think you will pick up a lot of real-world info as versus reading the manufacturers websites. And you are just the sort of chap we would also like to ask questions of about RVing on the other side.
We will save a place for you at the BBQ,
very good,
Mike and Cordie
