We are retired and have made the decision to go full time RVing about mid next year (2008). In the meantime, we have to get rid of 36 years of accumulated "stuff", including the house. There are some things I definitely want to keep in touch with everyone at home ie fulltime internet capability. Does anyone know where I could find some information...which part of the forum? We have not yet bought anything, altho we are constantly looking.

Hi and welcoem to iRV2, Maynard & Hanna. I know several folks who have gone full-time and faced many of the same problems that you're looking at now.

Many had their kids come in and get things they wanted, put stuff in storage, had garage sales, donated to charities, etc.

Most figure out how they will 'stay connected' electronically.. finding the best solution to meet their needs. Email is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family.

Many also build their own websites to document their travels in such a way that folks can keep up with them.

There are lots of other 'tricks of the trade' that I'm sure you'll learn from others here as well as through the forums.. You might also look at RV.net for addidional resources.

Good luck with your plans, I bet you'll look back one day and wonder why you allowed yourselves to get stressed over it, but just remember... almost all fulltimers go through it! lol
