Another newbie...

Like 99.9% of the new folks... looking to get into RVing ... We are looking for a cheap class c to start and play with... Will eventually need something to haul a trailer with a couple of Harleys... Planning on traveling with another family and riding, using the RV as a central point in our travels.

What kind of targets do you shoot?

When I first saw your handle, I though it was my daughter's. She is "trigtchr", but not on this group (yet). She is a high school math teacher.

Welcome trgtshtr!!

You can, definately, get an older coach with enough HP to pull a trailer w/ your Harley's on them!

I decided on a vintage TT to start with and fell in love. A friend got a 1978 Monaco class C and it has a 460 so she has plenty of power for towing. Both of us paid a grand for our units and we put about 1500 into them making them what we wanted for ourselves. So for $2500 have exactly what we want. Can't beat that with a stick

They might not be the Bell of the Ball, at the Parks, but they are solid, inexpensive, and we love them.

The big thing was to be patient and wait for the perfect one that had been well loved and was solid. Only took her three months but I looked for over a year.

Good luck and let us know what you found (plus pictures!!

thanks for the welcome

I love to shoot steel targets. Belong to a local club and shoot Cowboy Single Action shooting. We shoot 2 single action pistols, a rifle in pistol caliber and a shotgun over 5 different scenarios... I have a ball. Never get to do it enough, but am hoping when we start traveling more I will schedule and map around some shoots...

We want a used coach and am having issues deciding on class C or A..We have the fear of buying used, but do NOT want to spend the extra money for new...

Thanks again for the welcome. Hope to be on much more!
