Smile Another Trailing Arm Story

14 FEB 2011
Thanks to Madame Boomer for the warm welcome to iRV2.
Thanks to Jim Stewart and others for all the insightful info about the failing trailing arms on the Roadmaster chassis. As a result, we just had Source arms and the Source Ride Enhancement Kit installed on our 2004 Monaco Cayman. Alliance Coach, Wildwood, Florida did the work. Brian said he had replaced hundreds of trailing arms. Our arms had no obvious cracks after 52,000 miles, but now we have no worries. A brief test drive proved to provide a quieter, smoother ride. The real test will be our trip back to Colorado along the I-10 thru Louisiana.

Welcome nickrhds,
Glad you're satisfied with your fix. On your way back to Colorado stop off in Pensacola and the first cup (glass/bottle) is on me.

New Trailing Arms to Colorado

historyljc,
Thanks for the offer. We hope to camp at Ft. Pickens, is that close to Pensacola?

Yup, you must go through Pensacola beach to get to Ft Pickens. Send me a PM when you think you might be here. I might even know a good place or two to get something to eat.
