Aqua Hot problem

Two questions; 1. Can I still use the Aqua Hot for heat after I have drained the water system for the winter?
2. One of the circ pumps continues to run after the system is shut down, how do I get it to stop?

You can run the Aqua-Hot with no limitations with water system drained.

The bay heater is probably calling for heat, making the circulation pump run.

Please note: You do not get all of the water out of the Aqua-Hot by draining it or blowing air through it. If the water left inside freezes it will damage the water heating loop. If this water heating loop is damaged, it will require the unit either be replaced or remanufactured. Very expensive. The only approved winterizing method is to completely fill the Aqua-Hot (and rest of the water lines in the coach) with RV water line winterizing fluid.

Roger, thank you for your answer. I have winterized as you suggest and expect no further problems. The pump still continues to run after I run the Aqua Hot until I turn off the main switch at the battery. I think that there is a relay somewhere that is staying on.

It is probably the bay heater that is calling for heat and asking the pump to send heat to warm up the bay. Since there is no heat energy in the Aqua-Hot, the pump will continue to run.

What model Aqua-Hot do you have and I can give you some hints on what to look for.
