Greetings all, Linda and I previously owned a 5th wheel (JAYCO Designer) and have made the jump to a Class A. We both retired last year, Linda in January and me in June. We had hoped to hit the road and see this great country the way it should be; however, Linda's cancer returned (the gift that keeps on giving) and we're in a hold pattern until all her treatment is finished. So, alas we wait and watch other campers as they head south. I've already learned a great deal just surfing this site and shaking my head in agreement with many of the comments and issues we all seem to face together.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new rig and retirement. So sorry to hear of Linda's health problems but sometimes we just have to keep going and get through stuff which will make your ultimate journeys even more enjoyable.

Best of luck to you both.

Rick

So sorry to hear of Linda's cancer returning. I know how important it is to keep focused on the future, and keeping your mind busy on other things. Distractions are often the best therapy. Keep reading the forum, and get your rig ready to roll. Better times are just down the road.

Steve and Linda,
Welcome to the forum and the Tiffin group. Here's praying that Linda's treatment will be completely successful and y'all can put your Tiffin on road soon to enjoy the places you want to go. You're not alone in your struggles with cancer. Many of us here have walked, or are currently walking one of cancer's many paths. Let us know how we can help you.

Thanks to all who've replied, your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to us. I read and then we discuss, keeps your mind off the bad things. We're planning to head out for a two month run in April (head south, then west). She has more surgery this summer so we'll be in a deep planning mode around here until October, then it's to the road again for awhile. So keep your eyes out for a good (pet friendly) campsite. I'll be listening...
