Talking Back in the game

Well, we camped 25 years in tents, 5 years in a pop-up, 10 years in a 30 ft. travel trailer and then called it quits. Got rid of 90% of our stuff, donated the trailer, and sat still for 2 years. After visiting family at a campground my wife got the bug again so we purchased a used motorhome. Figured it was better than purchasing a truck and rig again. Now in the process of restocking with all the stuff we got rid of. $$$ Looking forward to our first shakedown cruise with this unit and getting back on the road. This looks like a good place to get good answers on any questions and good explanations on what I did wrong before I asked the question.
