Back to camping
Greetings All
I grew up in the late 60s & early 70s camping with my family in an 18' Tag a Long trailer. I still can't believe we would sleep six and sometimes more in that little thing. But it sure was fun. My wife's family also camped extensively.
My inlaws have always had some sort of motorhome and we were fortunate to accompany them on many a trip while raising our family
We now have g kids and got the itch so we just purchased a class C 27' Sunseeker, picking it up Saturday and first trip planned a week later

I started out the same way. Parents rented a pop-up tent trailer for their first camping experience, love the experience then they bought a 18 foot single axle Terry travel trailer. We took that across the country with my one sister and my two brothers, plus Mom and Dad. I inherited the trailer when we first got married, my bride loved the camping vacations so we traded the old Terry for a new 24 foot bunk bed model trailer and took our kids to all but 5 of the states.
Now our 35 foot coach seems to small for the two of us! We wonder how we ever made it in the smaller trailers with the kids!

Welcome. Wife and I started out in an 18 foot Little Hobo trailer then a 13 foot truck camper . Next we went to a 21 foot Class C motorhome. Went back to tent camping for a while then moved into a 27 foot Class A. Then a31 foot Class A then decided to try fifth wheels for a while. First a 27 Foot one then a 35 foot toy hauler then another 35 foot toy hauler. Next we went to 43 foot fifth wheel and finally back to our New 38 Foot Class A. Wow no wonder I am wore out and broke. Lol

Congrats! DW and I started in a 94 pop-up that I bought for $2000. Then to a 30 foot travel trailer, then a 24 foot Class C that leaked so bad we were soaked in a heavy rain storm sleeping in the forward upper bunk. So, then to a 30 foot class C. Now look what we ended up with and full timing!
Have fun, as we do.
