Welcome melvin 410 to irv2.
Most batteries are exposed to the elements on most coaches. Had a GB that had its house & coach batts down on the chassis frame in front of fire wall, hard place to work on.

Just clean up terminal post and spray with battery protection and you should be OK.
You can place them in battery box's if you have the room.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Melvin, welcome to iRV2.com. Congratulations on your Hurricane motorhome. I am sure you will enjoy this website and we hope to hear all about your camping trips. Exposed batteries up front on the class A's is a normal thing and as 007 has stated just keep the terminal clean, check the water monthly and you should be fine.
