Hi! Glad to have found this site. Glad to be here. We are new R.Ver's and took our new Bighorn out for a couple of weeks. we had a water connection behind the fridge come apart and flood the floor as the water pump was on. The inverter is also not turning the fridge on since this happened. ?water electrical damage? Has anyone else experienced this type of problem. It's very stressful to us as new campers.

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the Forum, Sorry about the flood, we have not had this issue. If it is new, take it to the dealership. Good luck

Sorry to hear about your troubles . Like in a house, everything is repairable. We always turn off the water while travelling or when away from the trailer for exactly that reason. Does the fridge work on AC when plugged into shore power? If not, it may just be a blown circuit breaker or gfci outlet. In many ways RVs are like boats and require some handiwork on the part of the owner from time to time.

Hi Mike! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

I would look for a tripped GFCI breaker or outlet.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
