Black water problems
I have my black water system hooked to a sewer. but it is not draining
and backing up into the toilet so you cant use it. PLEASE HELP

 Is it cold where you are at? Could the drain line where your dump valve is frozen up? What kind of unit do you have?

You obviously have the black tank drain valve open while using the toilet....bad....bad....bad. You MUST leave the valve CLOSED 100% of the time until the tank is at least 2/3 to 3/4 full.....THEN you open the valve.
The reason is because an rv toilet uses very little water and with the valve open, the liquid is not enough to drain the solids so the liquid runs out and leaves the solids.....hence, backing up the toilet.
So, close the valve and fill the tank with as much water as you can. If able, drive around a while to slosh the contents of the tank loose, and then try to empty the tank. With a little bit of luck, this will work.

Sound like the tank is FULL right to the toilet now, and the bowl is full

Sounds like your pull lever might not be opening the valve, or a solid is blocking the outlet. Have you confirmed the slider valve is opening?
It might be messy to fix that. If you can go to a place that empties septic systems they might be able to empty the tank from the top with a pump and then take the bottom off to fix the problem,
I sincerely hope you did not leave the black tank drain open while using the toilet. eeeek very bad thing to do as someone else mentioned,

If you have a blockage at the valve which it sounds like you may, you can try closing and opening it a few times to try and dislodge the clog.
Also check to see if your hose is full or empty. It could be the hose that is clogged and that is easy, just fill up your gray water tank some and then open the valve and shake your hose until the clog dislodges.

Take the hose off and see if the stoppage is at the valve.

Need to start with a little more information. What type of rig? Have you been parked for a long time? If parked; Did you open the dump valves when you parked and how long ago was that?

Nochawk, it would be helpful if you will respond to the questions asked in previous posts. That will assist us in helping you. You might be able to back flush from the dump hose connection if you have one of the clear adapters with the garden hose flush connection. With your tank/toilet full this will need to be a delicate and intermittent back flush process. Good luck. Paul

Does your toilet empty directly into the tank or down a pipe into the side of the tank it may be just the down pipe from the toilet that is plugged at the elbow. This sounds bad but get a stick and give it a push from the top if it goes down close the dump valve fill the tank with fresh water and dump it you may want to do this a few times to ensure the tank is clean. You can purchase a clear section of pipe that connects between your tank and dump hose. After dumping always run enough water through your black tank that it runs clear you'll save yourself a lot of problems.

First the OP needs to tell us what kind of RV he has, the local temperatures and how was he using the black tank. Until then, a lot of guess work.
