Brand New! Cypress Tx Just bought RV today. OMG

Just bought a 2008 Phoenix Cruiser today. 32,000 miles.
We are in Cypress TX and may be in over our heads.

Excited to get started Hubby is reading the manuals, and I am worried about what to pack as far as groceries and such.

Oh my. Where do we start?

What is a good first trip to get our feet wet (no pun intended with all the rain and flooding we have been getting). We are NW of Houston TX.

So excited to get started.

Welcome to iRV2.

Reading the manuals is a great start , camping in the back yard or some park close to home and stores for a few days will give you info on what to carry in your RV.

Welcome to the forum!
Wherever you go, head for high land...
It's usually good to make the first trip not too far from home and that way you get the experience of set-up and how the systems work. A full hook-up RV park with water, elec and sewer is a good place to start.
Hope you enjoy!

If you have kids, splashway water park and campground is very family friendly. Probably not too far from you.
Galveston has many rv parks although probably full already lol.
Do a search I'm sure there are lots of places near you.

Glad to have you here with us.

Camping in your driveway is a good start. Avoid the temptation to go into the house. You'll soon discover what you need and what you don't. Make lists an refer to them in the future. Keep it simple at first.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Happy Trails!!!
