Way to go Greg. Warms my heart hearing folks realizing their dreams and bucket list cross offs.

Hubby is 57 now with body starting to show signs of wear and tear. We've been truly blessed briefly seeing many of the states and provinces during our child rearing years. Now though, we intend to start from scratch again and do it much much slower as extended timers, smelling the roses more and savouring the journeys not just the destinations.

Enjoy the highlight of your twilight

Well, thought I might have found the one yesterday. Happened to be 10 min from my house. 2003 Damon Intruder, low mileage, low price, great looking. With research here and on the web I learned that I do need to just keep looking though.
I do think a DP is becoming the style of choice for me at this point.

Well, I now own a coach. Ended up on a much tighter budget then I originally thought I could go with, so the DP was out. Ended up with the 2003 38' Intruder is excellent shape and low low mileage. Yes, read all about the issues but for the price I think this will be a pretty great starter. I feel more comfortable as I can work on pretty much anything.
Closing the deal after I close on my sold house in under two weeks. I will take about two months to "make it mine" with cleaning and equipping and then hit the road south.
Very excited about this. Look forward to getting to know it inside and out.

Well, here i sit, having my first coffee and warm corn muffin, listening to live Dead in my new (used) 2003 Damon Intruder. Top condition coach. Closed on the old homestead and took some of the funds and in the same day paid up the balance on this (great price I think) coach the same day.
22 degrees outside and plenty warm in here right now, though the heater is almost constant. Will stay here in CT on my brother's land for the holidays I think so I can spend them with mom, then off south!
So, this item on the old Bucket List is well under way and I am as happy as can be. Just wish I could have done it when it was not so dang cold.
