we are going to need to get a cargo trailer to tow our corvette. what do you do with the trailer once you enter the campground?

I am not sure what to do with the trailer but I will look after the Vette for you :-)

If we are only staying a night or two, we leave the tow dolly hooked up. There is usually room. If we are staying for awhile we unhook it and pull it around to the back of the lot. Some places will store it for you, but charge a fee.

Hi hit the road, welcome to the forum. Trailers and dollys are often a PITA. If you can, try to get a long pull thru so you can leave it hooked up. Some parks will have a place to store them, but the problem is how to get it to the storage area. What are you going to pull it with, the Vette?

We have traveled for 35 years with different car trailers behind a class C, and three A's, and have only had to disconnect the trailer three times. We have used pull through and back in sites, and always verify the length will accommodate our rig. However, our length has never been over 52 ft. If you are like one of our friends with a Prevost and stacker trailer, the situation might be different.

Quite a few campgrounds have a storage area but as mentioned it's getting the trailer to that point. Best bet would be a pull thru site and leave the trailer hooked up. I've seen that situation at quite a few campgrounds. Good Luck!
