Not sure if its like mine The connection box is mounted up under the lip of dash on velgro strips.
The CB has a long cord that the wife can use easily.

I mounted my remote CB (same as in 007's pic) under the dash on the left side and brought the mic and coiled cord up on the far left side of the dash. I used one (1) dash screw to mount the mic clip on a nearly empty small panel below the headlight and windshield wiper controls. (If I get a chance I'll take a pic).
