Coleman Mach 3 HELP

Installed a new Mach 3 to replace my old Coleman from 1997 in front of coach. Has the Intellitec wall thermostat for dual units. After installation I went to thermostat and started to move down the switch Low fan, fan came on proceeded to move down the board and fan stopped. Can't get unit to run at all now. Switched connections on control panel (under fridge) and back unit runs fine on front unit circuit. Old unit had a separate start relay that the new unit didn't come with, do I need to install one, or what could be the problem, anybody, anybody???
