Hi, My name is Scott, and I am an RV Service Technician.

I am a member of several BBS' where I try to keep in touch with how people use the goods and services I help provide. It also helps me at work where I might be trying to diagnose a problem that someone has seen already.

Looking forward to some great discussions with you folks.

Scott, welcome to iRV2.com. we are glad you have found and joined us here. We look forward to your help in areas of your expertice. This is probably the best RVers website on the internet (at least that is what we are told). I do not get a lot of time to visit as many forums as I once did do to my hours at my job. Where are you from? We hope you will be an active participant here. Be sure to go to "GO" and to "MY SPACE" to fill out a personal profile. Thanks.

Respectfully, I'd rather not make that info public, as it may get me in trouble at work. We can't make money in the shop if I'm giving you answers here.

......1.0 some of these people will kill you if you tell them where you work....keep it a secret-and just give good advice. 2.0 Watch your back-you are in the RV repair business and some of the listers are not haveing good results while spending big bucks for their rig....3.0 Keep looking for other opportunities-as I understand that the RV business in flat right now because of fuel prices....4.0 You might look into boat repairs-boaters and private airplanes and those that own them don't care about fuel prices....or much of anything else. 5.0 Always have a back up plan-I have known 5 dealers that have shut there doors and left a lot of people just hanging. 6.0 Insure your tools and keep photos off site-a east side Marine/Rv dealer closed up shop and took all the tools with him.....to Florida I heard.....best of luck.....geofkaye
