We had an older Class C to "test the waters". Loved the "waters", but that '85 26-footer was the worst vehicle I ever owned, both for its interior appointments and the 460 engine with a carb and enough smog gear for a small city.

The thing we disliked the most, and it's one reason we didn't get a Lazydaze to replace it, was having to assemble the bed every night, then take it apart again before we could have breakfast the next morning.

My conundrum is that I'm not sure yet when I'll retire. Could go as early as this summer, but the numbers would look better if I wait a couple years. I'm "chomp-in at the bit" to get an RV. If I do get a"test RV" soon, I'd want one that won't depreciate too much. That was one of the main reason's for a used (2007+/-) Lazy Daze. I'd just use it for long weekends and shorter trips till I retire.

Having many options, can be both a blessing and a curse
